Adam Mickiewicz Institute, with the support of the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Lviv and the City of Lviv, invites you to the premiere presentations of the “+100” projects organised as a part of the Festival of Audiovisual Arts TETRAMATYKA 2019

The “+100” project, initiated as part of the international cultural programme dedicated to the centenary of regaining independence by Poland. presented innovative art works created by international duos of new media artists, composers and musicians among others. The premiere of three audiovisual projects where artists use virtual reality tools, interactivity and immersion experience will take place in Lviv. Despite being parts of one project and having some connections, the works are separate experiences exploring different forms of presentation and interaction with viewers/audience.

Artists: Marek Chołoniewski (PL), Roderick Coover (FR/US), Chris Cutler (UK), Echo Ho (DE/CN), Krzysztof Wołek (PL) and Piotr Wyrzykowski (PL). All of them have received international recognition and awards as innovators in their industries, each using new technologies in different ways. Technological approaches include scanning of brain activity during concert, immersion experience, interactivity, and virtual reality.

The +100 project is organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of POLSKA 100, the international cultural programme accompanying the centenary of Poland regaining independence.
Financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland as part of the multi-annual programme NIEPODLEGŁA 2017–2022.
