DIGITAL CULTURES LVIV
The Adam Mickiewicz Institute, in collaboration with the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe, organizes the first DIGITAL CULTURES LVIV conference during the International Festival of Audiovisual Art TETRAMATYKA 2019 Inaugurated in 2017, the Digital Cultures conference serves as an international platform for meetings between artists and culture managers. The programme of interdisciplinary debates and presentations is built around four main areas: computer games, immersive storytelling, digital archives, and modern museum science. The conference will be held on 17 October and it will be accompanied by home-made movies screenings, workshops with experts, VR shows, and audiovisual installations from 15 to 19 October. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is a Polish cultural institute, whose mission is to strengthen the brand of Polish culture through active participation in international cultural exchange. It carries out cultural projects in locations including Europe, Asia and the Americas. Since 2015 the Institute has been developing its programme with a view to supporting an international presence for Polish artists operating at the intersection of digital technology and art.
